On March 20, 2010, Boys of Bangladesh (BoB), a non-funded and non-registered network of self-identified Bangladeshi gay men raised the rainbow flag, symbol of LGBT rights, high in Dhaka to mark the opening of their new space which will serve as a hub for LGBT organizing. BoB believes the open display of the rainbow flag with its message of diversity and acceptance will inspire the local LGBT community to unite and become more confident.
