تكمن القيمة الأسمى للمتحولين/ات في كونهم يكسرون الفكرة الأزلية التي تربط الجنس البيولوجي بالجندر، وتجعل الثاني نتيجة للأول بشكل بديهي، فهم/ن يؤكدون أن الجندر هو خيار مبني على منظومة أحاسيس وأفكار ونظرة ذاتية للنفس وللهوية الشخصية والجندرية والجنسية. وفي هذا الخيار وحده، يعلن المتحولون/ات الثورة كل يوم، ويحطمون التابوهات ويتعرضون للمخاطر والرفض والكراهية والجرائم، لأنهم “يختارون” ولا يخضعون لما هو موجود ومفروض.
